SPUN PROVOLONE

DESCRIPTION

Provolone is pasta filata, hard and compact cheese. It has a slightly pungent, agreeable and well developed flavor and bouquet. This cheese is commonly called "parrillero".

Standarized pasteurized milk, calcium chloride, sodium chloride, lactic bacterial cultura, rennet and dye (INS 160b).

ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION

Consistency: semi-hard.
Texture: compact, consistent, brittle and granular structure.
Color: uniform yellowish white.
Flavor: soft ot spicy and pleasant, well developed.


USES

This cheese is commonly called "parrillero" since it is usually cut into slices and cooked on a grill or fry pan. Both sides are typically seasoned with sauces and spices. It is also a table cheese served to accompany dishes, assorted salamis and a selection of ham.


PURPOSE

The product is aimed at final consumers. It can be consumed by the general population from the first year of life, except those allergic to any of its ingredients.


PRESENTATION

Approximate weight per block: block of 4 kg, 2 kg and 0.330 portion composed of two slices.
Primary packaging: Thermo-shrinkable bag.
Secondary packaging: Corrugated cardboard box containing 4 block of 4 kg, 8 block of 2 kg. or 16 portions of 0.330 kg.
