CHEESE PROVOLONE HILADO
Provolone is pasta filata, hard and
compact cheese. It has a slightly
pungent, agreeable and well developed
flavor and bouquet. This cheese is
commonly called "parrillero" since it is
usually cut into slices and cooked on a
grill or fry pan. Both sides are typically
seasoned with sauces and spices. It is
also a table cheese served to accompany
dishes, assorted salamis and a selection
of ham.
